The practice of providing feedback in the recruitment process has changed drastically over the years due to various reasons. Initially, jobseekers would consistently receive feedback upon rejection, but this practice has become less common, often due to large applicant volumes, legal fears, and lack of time or adequate training to deliver feedback effectively. Yet, feedback is crucial because it helps candidates improve and can positively influence a company's reputation. A few solutions that can solve this issue are: automating feedback, creating tiered feedback, and getting third parties to provide feedback. Organizations should look at this issue from the candidate’s perspective to improve their hiring practices.
