Most of the new jobs were created in the industries of Retail Trade, Health Care and Social Assistance, Manufacturing, Transportation and Warehousing, and Education and Health Services. Although job growth was steady, unemployment remains at 6.9%. Wages decreased by two cents to $30.18 per hour, which is 4.5% higher than the same time last year.
