Recruitment can be more beneficial if it becomes a two-way process where potential employees also play a part in shaping their placement process. This is the idea put forth by Chief Evangelist of Phenom, Mike Cohen, who proposes that candidates be given the tools to build their own career sites and control the content presented to recruiters. Cohen elaborates on the benefits of offering a Candidate Experience (CX) platform such as more active candidate participation, increased data for employers, and reduced unconscious bias. This shift in recruitment strategy, allowing individuals to define their work and personality, could improve employee satisfaction and retention.
