This is done to gain a better idea of the candidate's skills and personality, as well as to foster a better team dynamic. By involving employees in recruitment decisions, managers can gain helpful feedback in the hiring process, access the combined knowledge of the team to find ideal candidates, and create an improved organizational culture. Additionally, managers can increase consistency by creating a checklist of criteria to use when evaluating candidates, and using a consistent decision-making process.
