The future of office work has been dramatically impacted by Covid-19, with some employers indefinitely extending remote work or making it permanent, according to a survey by Mercer. 83% of respondents will be implementing a flexible work option after the pandemic, while 53% expect that the majority of their workforce will work remotely for the foreseeable future. Still, remote work doesn't fully replace in-person work due to the benefits of face-to-face collaboration and companies must balance these two modes of work.
