A recent survey revealed that Human Resources (HR) professionals are largely unsatisfied with the talent within their organizations. The professionals believe that employees lack the requisite skills needed for their roles. A vast majority of HR staff, approximately 83%, expressed concern about their workers' skill levels, an increase from 72% who expressed the same concern in 2016. Additionally, only 17% of HR executives stated that they were able to recruit the top talent available. Other findings include the unwillingness of most employees to take up learning and development programs offered by their organizations, and the incessant struggle to retain staff.
