LinkedIn Introduces New Tools to Connect Recruiters to Candidates

LinkedIn recently unveiled new recruiting tools that help employers reach passive candidates more effectively. The professional social network's "LinkedIn Talent Solutions" feature allows hiring managers to move beyond what postings applicants created, and better target high caliber professionals who might be considering new opportunities. At the same time, businesses will still be able to review posted resumes to find the best matches. In addition, LinkedIn debuted a “Matching” feature that identifies potential candidates who exhibit the same characteristics of successful performers in a given workplace. LinkedIn also introduced “Connections” which encourages those already employed at the company to refer their network of friends for open job positions. Finally, "Insights Pipeline" allows recruiters to monitor the entire prospecting landscape to be notified any time somebody looks at job postings. All four features combined provide businesses with a comprehensive solution to locate and attract premier professionals.
