New research shows that recruitment engines are primed for action following the pandemic, with 63% of North American organizations planning to hire new staff in six months. Companies are expected to shift from crisis response to growth mode, focusing on talent acquisition. Most respondents (58%) in the Enterprise Talent Acquisition Sentiment Study, which surveyed 540 companies, plan to invest in recruitment technology. Tools to manage remote hiring, onboarding, and work are also expected to be heavily invested in. However, inadequate budget is a key problem, with only 15% of companies set to increase their recruitment budget. This is a significant decrease from pre-pandemic levels when 42% increased their allocation.
