The career that's poised to resist Artificial Intelligence (AI) disruption is teaching since the human touch in education seems irreplaceable. While AI has made tremendous inroads in sectors such as finance and manufacturing resulting in job losses, the profession of teaching remains largely untouched. This is highlighted by the fact that for all its advancements, AI has failed to outperform humans in areas such as critical thinking, creativity, decision-making ability, social skills, and emotional intelligence, which are inherent to teaching. Moreover, despite the rise of AI teaching aids, they aren't expected to replace human teachers but act as supplementary tools to enhance the learning experience.
