For example, it spotted a lack of relevant experience, wrong dates, and a lack of education. It was also able to pinpoint certain phrases that indicated damage control tactics employed by some potential employees. These included minimizing the impact of past actions and even omissions of facts that could hurt a job application. Despite its impressive performance, the authors of the study concluded that the use of such technology should still be seen as an aid rather than a replacement for human analysis.
